KAIJU

When the trend is focusing on clean and aesthetic art, KAIJU wants to steer away from pretentious art by taking over public spaces and immerse the viewers by taking them in a dystopian, post apocalyptic world, inhabited by otherwordly creatures.

To destroy is to create something new, giving a new meaning to “vandalism” through exaggerated graffiti and cartoons. Toddlers, the anti-hero characters of KAIJU, are shown in cartoon violence scenarios that recalls a ’90s videogame atmosphere.

Trough paintings, street signs and visuals, new creatures and monsters will appear, breaching into the space they’re displayed in.
